Becca and I just noticed she posted that she lost her little girl today. It was very sudden.

Here is the link if anyone wants to post a comment or send her a note.

Such a tragedy, and what a shock for her!! I would be devasted! Tried to send her a message, and got there was some sort of error. Will still light my lil candle, that I light for furkids heading to the bridge!:sosad:

Who went and cursed doxie lovers? First Karen's fire and now this? :wtf: I know her pain, to lose one so quickly and unexpectedly. Though she may never see this, a big :hug99: from mine to hers.

SHe just might see it, Andrea, I sent her an email w/ the DLC link for some extra support. I'm hoping she'll pop in and see that we are all thinking of her.

That is just terrible. Pneumonia can come on very quickly. That is so unfortunate she didn't respond to medication. I was very lucky to have UF vet school help get Sofie through hers.

I just read that someone donated 5000 bucks to DRNA in Tasha's memory, and several others donated $$ to DRNA too. :appl:

Yes, great update by Miss Doxie. Of course I blubbered like a baby the whole way through, but it's so awesome about the donations pouring in to dachshund rescue on her doxie's behalf. That's a heck of a legacy!!

I think the office is used to seeing me wipe my tears by now! What a horrible, tragic event, to happen so quickly. The donations, however, are incredible. That says a lot about who reads Miss Doxie!!
