Well the puppies came home Friday and so far are doing great!! It has been a crazy, busy and tiring weekend which is why I haven't posted before now!!! They are the sweetest and cutest little things - everything puppies should be. I really think the story about the mom dying from parvo was BS. I would be willing to bet that someone had this litter, hadn't sold these boys yet and they were getting older (they are about 14 weeks, we think), and decided to dump them before Christmas. I am so grateful we saved them. Whenever I look at their sweet little faces I just think about how they'd be dead if the wonderful shelter people had not alerted rescue!!

They are also doing great with crate training and potty training especially considering they'd probably never been in a house before! If it is time for everyone to go in the dog room, and they go in their crate, they really don't make a peep anymore. They did cry the first couple times but quieted down, and have been sleeping through the night. They are also good about pottying outside as long as I take them out at the right times LOL. They are really starting to settle in and play a lot. They've discovered toys, and it's so cute to watch them play!!

Anyway here are some pics!

Here we come!!!

This is Dan, who is smaller but seems to have a bigger attitude. :D He has white on his chest, and a white toe or two on each paw. I call him Twinkle Toes!

And here is Nat, almost half a pound bigger than Dan. He is quieter and is more content to just sit and chill when Dan still wants to play.

The other dogs are funny with them. Otis and Thor have very little puppy tolerance, though Thor plays sometimes. Napoleon plays sometimes too, and Fred plays with them a lot even though he grumbles about it. Zeus is an angel with them. He's never said a nasty word to them, and just lets them climb all over him and play and play. Oh did I say climb and play? Because I meant HUMP.

Boy I'll say they are very much at home but, I'll bet you won't have them long. So sweet and beautiful coloring.
The pic with Uncle Otis is priceless, it looks like he can't believe what he is seeing.

You made me laugh! Humping machines! How funny! I have not had a puppy in so long...I did not know they did that. But *dog* (the black and tan whose name I don't know) seems not to notice..he's just chewing on whatever!

Great names, wonderful pics, terrific puppies. Nice to see them getting so well socialized and working on that pack order thing (hump hump hump). Those white toes are adorable!

Adorable pups. Is Nate a ressive red or is it just the looks of the picture. Time to get them boys neutered and re-homeed.

Yes, that may be it....he has a liver nose. Dan's nose is black. And YES it is time for a neuter. Our vet said she'd do it at 5 months old but Dan is already lifting his little leg to pee!! I am going to ask her about doing it sooner.

I may be wrong with this so someone come behind me and verify it.

I have been told GOOSEMan is an resessive red. He has the liver nose, toenails and eyes. I have also been told it is a big nono is breeding. Any way you look at it Nat is going to be a heartbreaker. If he were a true mini (like GOOSEMan under 6 pounds), I would be on the next plane to get him.
