Not that I think anything is good about invisible fencing...but I just read a terrible story....
A woman in Henderson County NC let her 3 doxies out to potty and one never returned....she kept her dogs in by an invisible fence....5 minutes later she found her doxie, that she only had for 2 months, mauled and killed by 2 neighbor pit bulls!!!! The doxie was only 2 yrs old, a lil choc and tan LH named Jade..
RIP sweet baby girl:angel7:

That's the main reason that I'm against invisible fencing. It will keep your dogs in, but does nothing to keep other dogs out. There is no protection for the dogs that are inside. In fact, they are MORE vulnerable because they usually won't cross the invisible fence line. JMHO

:sosad: .

I once thought of getting an invisible fence but after hearing all the comments about the dangers, I decided on a 6 ft privacy instead.

That poor baby and her family :(

This is why I would Never ever get one of those things,, I kept telling
people that it does not keep other dogs from getting into the yard and
killing or harming your dog and it does not keep a stranger from just
walking in the yard and picking them up and walking away,,

I hate those invisible fences.. for small dogs, they are not safe, and the
dog is very vulnerable!!

the poor thing.....

Invisible Fence:
I've heard many story's where the dogs get smart and continue to test the fence till one day its not working anymore and they make a run for it.
