I hope they find the groomer and arrest her, 1. for trying to cover up what happened, 2. for being STUPID

I read that earlier on my grooming message boards, being a groomer I know accidents do happen as you are working on a moving dog sometimes, but to take off an ear is so shocking and then to try to cover it up by gluing the ear back on and NOT tell the owner is VERY unprofessional and stupid.
The groomer must have been in shock and not know what to do but this ear must have bled A LOT!!!! And anyone I know would have RAN to a Vet immediately, no excuses!! Unbelievable!!

I hope they press criminal charges against the groomer...I understand that accidents can happen, but to cut an entire ear off and then try to cover it up....wow  . Sending tons of healing :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: for this little pup and her freaked out mom!

exactly! I mean, sure, accidents happen, but crap, call the owner, rush the dog to the vet and own up to you mistake - and pay the vet bill. It says the groomer was unlicensed and I think criminal charges might be pending.

I just don't think I can even read this! :( Poor pupper.

After our cocker, Amber, had her ear canal ablated (sewn shut to prevent more infections in it), Mom told her groomer, but different people would wash the dogs prior to grooming. One time when Mom picked Amber up, it looked like someone had tried to open the stitches up to clean the ear canal! :faint:

That only happened once.
