The other night we were walking Tasha on the block with her favorite potty area, by a fence next to a parking lot, and she was clearing getting ready to go #2, choosing a spot. First a loud truck went by, she stopped to watch. Resume sniffing--then a group of loud people passed by--must stop to watch. She finally starts to go, and a small cardboard box blows along the fence suddenly, headed right for her! Did she ever leap out of the way. Fortunately she got the job done, but was not a happy camper. Some nights, you just can't get a moment's privacy......

Awww! I bet that was frustrating for both Tahsa and YOU!

Maybe you could carry around a privacy screen for her! :rotfl:

Molly is the SAME way! even a leaf blowing by or a car idling totally distracts her!

My big dog Buddy is shy like that too! He'll hold it till I turn my back, and goes around the corner so I can't see him go.

I don't get it? They love their privacy during those moments (you can't even make eye contact with Pogo!), yet YOU want some time alone and they are scratching at the door.

Poor Tasha!

This describes Daphne to a tee. In fact we say that the planets have to be in perfect alinement in order for her to do her business. If you go out in the yard with her you have to pretend to be looking the other way or to be interested in something across the yard or no way jose she will not go.

Even the wind will distract her and we laugh as she has about 15 - 20 false starts before the deed is completed.

Casey does that too! :rotfl: Anything and everything distacts him. Can't look at him cuz we get the L@@K! Do you mind?! Sophie just goes when she needs to go!

Yet, When I am in the bathroom....they BOTH have to come in and watch me. I'm sure they snicker to one another http://www.dallascowboyfansunited.com/forums/images/new1/muttley.gif

Poor Tasha!!! :sosad: Buddy has become such a velcro baby that his new thing is to sit on my lap while I'm in the bathroom?! I can't even keep him out b/c my bathroom door doesn't latch right! He'll nose the door open and take a flying leap before I can stop him!!!!
