This was one of my greatest fears of what might happen if I had decided to go into breeding.

I"m surprised, but not surprised, in this day and age, advertising in the paper like that is such a BAD idea. There are just too many crazy and dangerous people out there..
Hopefully the home survelliance cameras got a good picture of the theives,, and they should post them all over the T.V. news..

OMG - how tragic is that! Sending many :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: that all are found safe and sound, and someone stuffs the bad guys into a plastic trash bag!!!

Didn't we discuss the woman who was murdered, her baby ripped from her womb, by a woman she met on an online breeding forum for Jack Russel Terriers?

The woman who did that was just up the road from me. I'm talking maybe a 15 minute drive. :(

A woman was murdered recently after going for a test ride with the azz that showed up because of her ad in the paper. I know of a few doxie pups stolen in this manner. I also know a dealer who will only meet people out in a very public place if they are interested in her pups. No solution, except lower the price of pups. Like the guy said on a tv show a few years ago, if mink coats were only $5.00 and sold at KMart, no one would want one.
:holyshp: That is scary! What's even worse, they put the pups in a plastic bag. I hope they lived.
