I realized this morning my wnderful soulmate is gettin old (16) but not slowing down.

Dear Yolanda: What a precious old man he is. With your care, he'll probably hit 19 before he's thru. It's so sad that God made all the little animals we love so dearlly with such a short lifespan, but maybe that was so we could adopt more & bring life and love to more little doxies that need a home like yours. GOOSEman is so sweet! I just love the seniors. :hearts: I agree he looks like he's got a lot of years left in him. The DH always says that our dogs live so long because they don't want to die. They're afraid that heaven won't be as good as living at our house. I bet GOOSEman thinks the same thing. :wink:
