Today Puddles, my very first dog, passed away. She would have been 14 in April. I was in Jr. High when I got her from a nearby neighbor. I didn't even ask permission from my parents to get her. I wanted a basset hound so bad, and when I found out there was one not far from our house I just went and got her! My parents didn't care though...they instantly fell in love with her big ears.
She was so adorable and I carried her everywhere. My dad would say "Put her down...she isn't a doll!" Then she got to big to carry around sorta. On walks, she'd literally just lay down no matter how far we were from home. I'd scoop her up and lug her back home. :hearts:
When I went to college, she stayed at my parents house. My mom is going to miss her a lot. :( I think we all are. She was such a good dog. :candle2:
I can only find this one digital picture of her. You can see how gray she was. This was taken last summer.

I had a few printed pictures, so I just took a picture of the printed picture. Sorry for the quality.

She LOVED fish! When my dad would go fishing, she'd pull a fish right out of the bucket and carry it around. Kinda gross, but so cute!

She also loved corn. We lived by a cornfield so we'd just pull an ear of corn off and give it to her. We called her corn dog! lol
