I feed Innova, not on the list that I could see (it is early here, so I could have missed it)....anyone else feed this brand, and if so, know anything?:scratch:

whoo hoo we're on the good list.

I was at the grocery yesterday and our local store was pulling ALL dog food. They even had signs up that said something to the effect of

"we have no idea which foods are or are not affected by the recent pet food problems and for the health of our customers' pets we are pulling ALL dog food as a safety precaution. We have instructed our meat department to make more dog-friendly cuts available at lower prices until such time as we can be sure the dog food we sell will not harm your animals"

Innova is on the list...it's made by Nutra...very disappointing.
Canidae is the only one that doesn't have any of their products made by someone else...or at least of the foods I'm familiar with

Innova is on the list...it's made by Nutra...very disappointing.


Innova is actually made by Natura and according to this list, they make their own dry food, so it should be just fine to feed (only some of the canned is made by Menu).

I have fed the girls Wellness canned since they were puppies (combined with different kibbles) because I like to switch their varieties of protein. I am not really happy about the association with Menu, even though they don't use wheat gluten :(.

Laurie, these are the foods NOT affected by the recalls. If your food is on the list, that's a good thing.

This is just a list of information someone has gotten from the company regarding whether they have any affiliation with the company associated with the recall (Menu Foods). So you have to read the company's response specifically and decide whether you are comfortable with what they say (or don't say).

Notice that if the company's name is on the list but there is no information given, that means there hasn't been a response from the company yet... so I'd check back (or of course you can always try to contact the company yourself). Most likely the foods on the list are safe, but the company might use Menu Foods to produce some of their products... which may be a matter of principle to you whether or not you are comfortable purchasing their foods for your dogs...
