I think Auggie thinks he's a person. If I give him traditional commands, such as "Auggie Heel" or "Auggie Wait", he pays no attention. But if I say "C'mon Augs" or "Hold on a sec" he will heel or wait.

When we go to the dog park, he greets all the humans, then sits with me on a bench watching the other dogs play. He'll occasionally sniff the other dogs, but then he'll come back and try to join in the people's conversation.

In his mind, he's a human! :scratch:
