Puppy Eye Color

I just got a new puppy a week ago. She is 7 weeks old and still has blue eyes. I have looked all over the place for an answer as to when their eyes change color and I can't find anything. I seems like when I got my other doxie at 8 weeks her eyes were already brown. Any one know anything on the subject? Thanks!

Hmm...what is her coloring otherwise? if she is a dapple it could be her eyes will always be blue.

I am sure others will have more information, but is Ginger a dapple? It is possible the dappling "hit" both her eyes making them blue.

Both my Doxie's have One Blue eye! They are Black and Tan Dapples.
I think their eye colour makes them unique and Special! :hearts:

Thanks girls! She is a dapple. So, maybe they won't change....That's pretty neat! Ok I have to go back and do some house work today. Talk to you girls later. :)
