This is the most fabulous coat, many thanks to Tanya for snagging it for me.

But unfortunately, Tasha's chest is too deep! I couldn't snap in shut on the belly as her ribs were in the way! :sad1: :sorry: :sad2: Too bad as its sooo warm. I may try to exchange it for one size up, but I would probably have to hem the bottom, as this one is the perfect length.

But, of course,I took some pics to share.

Mom, its too small!

I don't care if its really cute, its too tight, I'm outta here!

Jen is that the one from Target?

I have the same ones as Peaches and Piper, they're both medium, and Snooter's is too big. I think I posted a video of her scampering thru the kitchen in her jacket. What size is Tasha's.

OMG she is gorgeous in her coat! That color totally suits her. I hope you are able to find a bigger size.

She looks pretty in it anyway. Could you not add a row of velcro to the bottom of the coat, maybe an inch or two???? You could double stitch it on by hand.

Oh man...that sux! Do you want me to try to find a large for you? I saw one when I was looking for the Medium.

She looks cute in it even though it doesn't fit. :hearts:

Awww she doesn't look like a happy camper, but that color is beautiful on Tasha, hopefully you can get it in a larger size.

Shoot, its its a medium I can't trade with Karen for Snoot's that doesn't fit.

Tanya, if you see a large at Target, and don't mind picking it up, that would be great. I can also see if anyone listed one on ebay.

Irma, the snaps are pretty close to the edge so sadly, I don't think velcro would help. :(

OK, long shot here, I remember seeing somewhere - I don't know what it's called but it's like an expander - snaps on both ends inda like an extension cord - HELP ME OUT OH QUEEN OF SEWING!! DO they still make stuff like that or would that be too much hassle?? THe coat is sooo cute!

Gigi has the same problem as Tasha... they both have BIG CHEST!

Pippit has the same problem(and same coat) So, I got a Medium for him(the small was too small) It's just a bit too big and he can pull his front legs inside. (Queen of sewing~how can I fix this???)

Funny story about that~Pippit fell FACE FIRST into the snow because he had managed to pull both front legs into the coat. He was NOT a happy camper! Especially because Mom was laughing at him. :rotfl:

Pippitsmom I will go look at the coat at Target and see what you can do. You might have to run a real small seam on each side, the lenght of the back, or one seam down the middle of the back.

If you run a small seam doen the back you can even sew some cute manly buttons on it.

I know she doesn't look too thrilled, but it is absolutely darling & I love the color. We've been coat & sweater hunting all winter. The problem w/most of the sweaters is that they're made with a very L-o-o-s-e knit & they snag too easy. Every time I buy a sweater, it's "outta" there in a month or less; half the time, they're so stretchable, they jsut walk out of them. That makes me crazy. GAY

Gay, we have two sweaters from Dog-E-Designs for Tasha. They're an excellent fit and she can't get out of them. She doesn't care for them, so we mainly use coats, but they did keep her nice and warm.
