This is what the person who was selling the puppy wrote back to me

are you sure of that ? i just want to find the puppy a good home that is y a dog worth $3000.00 is going for $600.00 that is what i paid in vet visit for shots.

I don't even bother writing to the seller, although when I first came across pups on e-bay I did, but found quickly that it was useless.
