Buddy was upset last night because I was smacking flies with the fly swatter. He'd hidden out in my bathtub so I took my shower in his bathtub, no biggie. Evidently, that just pushed him over the edge, and he sought something very small to cram himself into. This cage is rated for 30 lb dogs. Buddy is 2x that.

I'm not sure if it's funny or sad~

Reminds me of a door mat I saw in Galveston last week:

"A very sensitive and fragile big @ss dog lives here."

Poor Buddy. :bighug: sweet boy!

so I took my shower in his bathtub, no biggie.

Now that sounds like it's worth a story (even a very short one)??????

Buddy likes to stay in the bathtub of the second bathroom in the house. It's his 'special place' where he goes when he's scared, stressed, happy, sad...Most often that's just where Buddy is.

What is it about flyswatters? Mine all scatter when ours comes out too. Like they've ever been hit in their lives... Maybe it's just the sharp sound? Poor Buddy!! :hug99:

Awww.... little guy didn't like the swatter and the noise.

In our case, we have Pogo, yup.... Pogo is our fly hunter. I don't know how he does it, when you consider he's only 3 apples High (Smurf reference) off the ground, but somehow he manages to swat them. He doesn't eat them, just swats them and gives me one of those proud, look what I did looks.
