We actually put the pool inbetween the sunporch and privacy fence, on a concrete pad that was installed for a hot tub. The pool just fits perfectly, so it's very private. Butters is in heaven. He loves summer.

(And i have three of those baby floats, so hopefully Gav-leigh can have one when he/she is born. LOL. Rigby won't be using hers, but I can't see Butters giving his up!)

Yes, I have one too...well it's a hot tub. But mom keeps it like on the cooler side. And then she bought me a boat with a bottom in it so I can float along too. Too nice..:cheer2:

May I ask the dimentions of your pool and where you got it? I am in the market for one, and since my fundage will never be that of someone who can afford an inground pool, I'm biting the bullet and searching for the kind you got.
(spends over 1K on dogs I've had for 2 weeks but can't get a friggin pool, my dream since I was a kid)

May I ask the dimentions of your pool and where you got it? I am in the market for one, and since my fundage will never be that of someone who can afford an inground pool, I'm biting the bullet and searching for the kind you got.
(spends over 1K on dogs I've had for 2 weeks but can't get a friggin pool, my dream since I was a kid)

It's a 12 foot round, 30 inch deep blowup pool. We looked everywhere for a 10 or 12 foot and they were literally sold out in every store because we had four 90 degree days in the past two weeks (unheard of here.) My coworker mentioned Aldi's (I think you'll probably have those- they're a chain of no-name brand food stores- they're everywhere around here) had them in stock. They had a million of them. We got ours for $60.00. Worth every penny.

The only problem is they have to be completely level and you have to really pull out the edges as it's filling. We filled it and it was all tilted and crooked and ended up having to drain half of it to fill it again. (When we drained it, all these bugs came out and Butters started to "get them"- he must have massacred 50 bugs that night.):rotfl:

We've really looked at the big blue ones that Walmart has - the kind with the pump/filter included? Our yard is SO unlevel though (and DH is so anti pool :().

I can pretty much say that my boys don't envy Butter at all. I had to drag Harley to the tub to give him a bath yesterday. He won't even pee if it's drizzling.

Me on the other hand is very envious. We have 3 pools in our townhouse community. I think I should hit one today. Today is the coolest day all week so far with a high of 89. ick.

Rigby is deathly afraid of the pool. They have to do everything exactly opposite, so this goes along with that, I guess.

The weirdest thing is that Butters won't go out in the rain, and Rigby will. Butters won't step in puddles and Rigby will.

We have those pools at walmart here....there is one that is 15 feet, and 48inches deep for 300$ dollars. Comes with ladder, pump, everything included.
Thinking of getting one myself...so hot here!
