Today we helped my sweet girl cross the bridge. She hasn't been well for quite some time now and I could not sit and watch her suffer anymore. My heart is just broken, but I know she was ready to go. I could see it in her eyes.

I will miss you forever my little lumpy beer keg. You have brought so much joy and happiness into my life. Ben will take good care of you. I love you always. :angel7: :hearts:

I am sorry to bump this very sad thread again up so late - but I just saw it now. :) must have been away.

I was reading another thread and saw Heidi listed as "Always in My heart.." on the sig line and I started to cry!!

Oh no I can't believe Heiders is gone :( I am so sad about it even though never met her in person. I am so glad that the little girl at the shelter who no one came to see until her brother Buddy came to look at her had her second chance and was one of the lucky ones.
