So, now that it is dark when we get home from work, no more ball at the park for Peaches. This has resulted in her driving me insane. So, I dusted off the treadmill so Peaches can get her exercise!!!

Oh yes, Piper had a turn too!

Peaches went for a full hour and seemed to have a great time!

Piper was panting after 8 minutes!

Cute pics!! So cool having a tread mill. So P&P use the hooman's TM, what a perfect way to exercise them. I don't remember, did you check out the TM's for dogs? I know they are expensive and didn't know if mine would take to it or not.

I did check out the dog treadmills, but they were so expensive (around $1200 I think) compared to the $300 I spent for the human one. This one has worked really well. This will be their 2nd winter using it. They do need to be on leash or they fall off the end when they shake it out! :D Plus I am there to supervise.

Dear Piper Man,
It is okay that you can only run for 12 minutes. Don't feel like you have to beat Peaches. If you can run for an hour, then you might become intense like Peaches and you know that didn't work out for me.

Love, Bailey

Thanks Bailey! I won't become intense like Peaches. She is crazy. I'd rather lay here and chew on my bone...and wait for your sweater picture!

That's awesome! I wish my two would go on our dreadmill, but Rigby is scared of anything that makes noise and Butters just would NOT be interested. We tried it once with him and he wouldn't walk and I was scared he'd get hurt. LOL.

That is great!! :)

We have a human treadmill that will do the job.. but how the heck to get them to use it??

OUr treadmill is in the kitchen (Only place we could put it) and near the microwave. When I'm warming something up Pogo runs and stands on top of it.

What a terrific exercise idea! Too bad you can't walk beside them and get your exercise, too - maybe get another one and put it alongside? Or buy a wider one?? Good idea for the long, cold winter exercise problem!! Poor pooped Piper - he'll build up toward an hour, slowly. :hearts:

Those are awesome pics!!! (I bet Prickles considers herself lucky!) :)

And Rafi, the dreadmil next to the microwave is a great idea.....you can heat/eat and workout~talk about multi~tasking! :rotfl:

I don't have a dreadmill, but I do have a stationary bike and an eliptical~think Pippit would enjoy those???
