One weekend in early Sept. 2007

I had the BEST weekend I have ever had so far!!!
It was a Dachshund Specialty weekend, with 2 Specialties and 1 All Breed show at a seperate location.
Eventhough my back and legs were giving me fits I asked friends if they would help me show dogs if needed and I entered numerous dogs to be shown.
In Wires I had Lady Di (too FAT) & Stoney all 3 days, Tyme and Oreo on the second and third day.
In Smooths I had Hoover and Solo all 3 days. At the Specialty there was 4 & 5 point majors in all coats. I was hoping I could tap into some of those points at some time during the weekend.
On Friday under Neena Vancamp, Stoney went Winners Dog and best of Winners for a 4 point major!! I told Sherry I didn't care if I didn't do another thing all weekend!! Hoover went Reserve Winners to a 5 point major in Smooths.

Then on Saturday, Stoney went Winners, Best Of Winners, and Best Bred-By Exhibitor in Show for a 5 point major!!!

If that wasn't good enough.......
Solo went Winners Dog in Smooth from the Bred-By Class for a 4 point major.

Poor Hoover went Reserve Winners AGAIN to a 4 point major, always the prince and never the KING!!

Then on Sunday, the judge excused Tyme and Oreo for color (GRRRRR) and broke the major in Wires, Stney went Winners Dog, Best of Winners then Best of BREED over two top winning Specials Wires and got a 4 point Major by going up over the Specials!!

Stoney went to Group and thankfully the Sherry showed him for me in Group but he didn't do anything. Still Stoney picked up 13 points and 3 majors in 3 days. I was VERY Proud of im and got numerous compliments on how nice he is.
Then the major broke in Smooths but Hoover FINALLY got Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 2 points on Sunday. He is a bit on the skinny side.

Fat Lady Di went Reserve Winners to a 3 pt Major on Sunday too. (She had lost a little weight and looked better in the grass)
Needless to say I was on CLOUD 9 the whole weekend and Lori and Sherry were a little upset with all of their loosing....LOL
