Poor dog....why the frick a person gets a pit bull where they are not allowed is beyond me. Stupid person gets a dog with obviously NO idea of its breeding (didn't see where she said what breed it is supposed to be)...he isn't vetted properly (only saw the vet once at 4 months so isn't vaccinated for rabies and he should have been up for being neutered)...I will assume that she hasn't taken him to obedience or they would have mentioned that..and he ran loose (which I know can happen but you know...it's never happened to me) Now the poor dog is in a horrible situation. I wonder why he can't be placed outside of the county...somewhere where they aren't banned. Why would he have to be PTS? :sosad:
Now I'm not for banning breeds at ALL but the time to fight that is before the legislation was passed, not risking some poor dog's life. Yeah...I'm sure it is possible she didn't know it was a pit when it was a puppy...but where the heck did she get a dog with no idea of the breed? In the wal-mart parking lot?? Geez. I hate stupid people. I hope the poor dog will be allowed to live...

No, sorry, not buying it. They should let someone from out of the area rescue the dog, but they should have the owner pts. We have already bred too many stupid people.

Yes, there are nice pitbulls. Unfortunately, there are idiots like the one who lives across the street from me who lets their dogs attack nice people like me who own nice doggies like Taffy. Over, and over and over. And until we can stop them....people will want to get rid of pitbulls.

And unfortunately strong dogs attract idiots! I once had an idiot threaten me and my sheltie mix with his dobermans. As long as I've been a tech I have seen the idiot :duh: population switch from one strong breed to another. 1st GSD's then dobes and rotti's then unfortunately someone discovered pits. All wonderful dogs that unfortunately have idiot appeal. Can't we just have one day of open season on idiots. Gotta thin out the population.:duh:
