So, that ou don't think I am making up about my guys and the nail trim, I had Natasha document our usual Sunday nail trim routine for you.
First I took them all out and we ran our agility routine with Seb. Sofie and Sabrina tried a couple of jumps too.
Then the nail trim. Here is the equipment

OMG, how can you have three dogs who are all so incredibly cute!!!? I am amazed that they are fighting over who gets to be dremeled next, of all things. Maybe I should try buying a dremel and see if the vet or a groomer can help us with the technique  .
I love the pictures with their adorable little paws sticking up.:rpaw: :rpaw: :rpaw: :rpaw:

They don't want to have their nails trimmed, believe me. But they do really want those treats and the only way to get them is the nail trim. So, they submit to it. Don't gt me wrong. They get plenty of treats aily. Hubby feeds them cheese any chance he gets. I have to restrain him. But they do love those liver treats quite a bit. And every time we do the nails, it gets easier to handle them. Dogs are very routine creatures. That's why I like to do it weekly or bi-weekly at least.
Kim, I posted here some time ago the link to the dremel technique. Was very helpful for me when I found it.

You have beautiful pups. Are the two english creams? They seems to be real good for you while you trim their nails. Treats work wonders. :boogie:
:wow3: I'm impressed lady, you did an awesome job training your furkids.:appl: :appl:
p.s. My dremmel is so noisy but have heard that Wal Mart has a quiet one for $20.

Wow!!! I wish Bailey would sit for me like that. He used to be good about nail trims until the vet knicked the quik one time...now he's terrible!!
