View Full Version : Tasha's annual exam

We took her in today. She's finally learned to hate the Vet's office. She sat in my lap and shook as we waited for our turn. Fecal negative, back looks fine, her weight is good (14 lbs 11 oz), vet pleased about the ramp to the couch (Tasha's previous vet left the clinic, this is only the second time with this woman). Oh, and we got her nails and anals done, and she had the lepto vaccine.

We do need a dental, scheduled for 2/22 so you know I'll be a wreck. We're off from work that week and can tend her when she gets home. It will be the first time she's had anethesia since we'd had her.

But overall she's healthy, not overweight, and had a ton of energy for the park trip afterward. The park is a block from the Vet's office so its a nice way for Tasha to let out the bad energy afterwards!

That's great news! Sorry she didn't really enjoy being there, though :(. Mine don't like being there, but they are pretty good.

So happy to hear that Tasha is doing great!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Mine hate the room of doom too, my top always looks like I can create a new doxie out of the fur that gets shed.

:cheer2: YAY Tasha!! :cheer2: I'm glad the exam went well, I think they all start to associate pain with the vet sooner or later, Molly had that down pat after the 1st couple of times. :rayz: :rayz: for a good dental!

OMG Lisa- Duchie does the same thing. And of course I generally wear black (Hullo, I 'm Johnny Cash...) and that is a lovely backdrop for the red dog hairs.

that she had a good check up.

Mitzi sheds plus gets dandruff really bad. How does she do that I wonder? One minute she's black and the next it looks like it's been snowing outside.
