Anyone here have a CGC?

I have been thinking about doing the CGC program/testing with both of the boys and I am wondering how hard the tests really are. Ultimately, I'd like to get Reese certified as a therapy dog, but I want to do this first.

Cash and Miller both have their CGC's. I went to the obedience school where I took them for basic to a 6 weeks prep class. The actual test wasn't that hard.

Edit: The 6 week training class was great though. My boys both learned so much in that course.

Thanks Patrice! The facility where we have been training runs a class that I was thinking about getting in to.

I thought that the classes were extremely beneficial. My guys progressed a lot during them. The did a lot of work with recalls from a longer distance and also socialization that were really helpful. :thumbup:
