Please light a candle for Johnnie. We lost him unexpectedly this morning at 7:47. After spending 8 months in a kennel, he had 16 days of playing in the grass and freedom and less than 24 hours with his new family but he knew love and happiness to the end. His brother Sammie is wandering around looking for his lost buddy.

As unexpected as this was we all realize taking in the seniors is heartbreaking. I like Jack and Jolene are heart broken again.

Oh, NO!!! :sosad: How tragic - I'm SO sorry for everyone. At least he had a chance to know love, caring, good food, and a wonderful home. He is now in a place of pure love, with so many of our furkin gone before. Please pass on my condolences - and to you, too, Yolanda! :hug99:

Oh Yo, it just doesn't seem fair that he should have had so little time to enjoy the good life. Jack and Jolene are true :angel7:s... a :candle2: will be lit here for him, and tons of :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: for poor Sammie.

Oh that is so sad...poor guy and his poor new family and you. Such a shock. I am so very glad he had his 16 days of pleasure before he went off to new times at the Bridge. We will light a candle for him tonight.

maybe he figured there was NO WAY it could get any better than the 16 days he had and decided to go to the Bridge while he was ahead.....

doG bless you and Jack and Jolene... all very very special people no doubt.

It is so heartwarming to hear that he had such a great 16 days, then so heartbreaking to hear that his "new life" was cut so short.

RIP, Johnnie...

:sosad:

and :bighug: for Sammie. That has to be tough.
