Scooter Update

I just got off the phone with Scooter's new mom, Dana. She said that he was so tired from chasing their cat in his cart last night that when it came time to go to bed he crawled right into his sleeping bag in his crate and went right to sleep.

He slept through the night, and has had breakfast and a nice poop, and is now sacked out in his donut bed. :sleep1:

She said her husband stayed up late last night reading the Dachshunds for Dummies book I gave them, which made me happy.

This was such a perfect placement! Ever since I first got Scooter I prayed every day for his right and perfect family to come along. Here's to answered prayers! :bubbly:

Yes, in fact she said she'd get on and join today. She doesn't have a digital camera, so I told her when Yolanda and I go in a couple of weeks to check in on them we'll get a bunch of pics then.

I just feel so very Happy for Scooter and his new family! It just makes you feel so good that they are truely happy with him! :hearts:

I did really well! I didn't cry or anything, just felt satisfied and relieved that he had found such a great home. :)

Isn't it the best feeling to know what you've help do? I thought I'd be a crying baby when Flash went to Dallas but nope I wasn't. I think it's because I just knew it was the right thing for him. Now, I did cry when I got the 2nd update from the faimly saying how much they loved him already. :)
