Paddington 11/28/05~8/20/08

I struggled with weather or not to post this, but then thought that my little guy deserves to be remembered here.

I helped Paddington to the bridge this morning. He had gone downhill fast and after pretty much every test availabe(no matter what the cost), several Dr's agree that he he did in fact have WHS and(this was a recent development)he also had a tumor that was pressing on his brain.
Dr. Sam was awesome(as usual) And as much as I wanted to be there with him....I just couldn't do it(I guess I'm just not as strong as I wanted to be) Dr. Sam made a little pawprint in clay for me. She even cried and gave me a hug.

Anyway, I'm sad....but relieved. The "moment" that many have told me about happened and I'm at peace....but I miss my little guy.

Oh Karen, you absolutely should post this!!! Except that it's so sad...but take some comfort in knowing that you did everything you could, and in the end, made the decision that was best for him. :wow: I am just now seeing the pics since I can't view most photo hosts at work. Those are fantastic!! I am not sure which is my favorite. I think I am torn between the one where he's sitting in the baseball cap and the one where he's in the middle of all the hedgie keychains.
