He was an owner surrender. I work with a lady (well we both work for the city) and her daughter got a puppy when she was like 7 months prego then had a real hard time going up and down stairs so she thought about giving him up. Then she had the baby early and it was to much for her to handle so I picked him up last night and he stayed with "grandma."
I ran into my cousin a few days ago and I told her that I was into rescue and she mentioned she was looking for a young small pup so I told her about Gizmo and that I might be getting him. She told me to call her so I did.
Her family came to check him out and took him home tonight. :D I didn't get the whole family photo because I forgot but they went out to eat and then came back for him so I got Giz and his new momma.
Here he is and they are.
He's a Yorkie/Lhasa mix

I sure wish every adoption would be so easy and quick. :D
