Have you ever fed the Lamb? Are they "tougher" then the chicken ones? I noticed they have a bit of a smell to them too.

Yes, they are tougher (more dense). I don't feed the lamb very often, because I can't stand the smell of lamb and never eat it myself. The venison are the same consistency as the lamb, but without the smell, which is weird because I think it uses lamb heart, but no odor.

OK, thanks Lisa. I didn't know if they were bad or something. I think I might just finish the bag and not buy them again.

I found that with the chicken/turkey medallions you can just mush them with a fork. The beef ones are a wee bit tougher, I use a fork and knife to cut them up. I don't like lamb so I have never tried that one. My 2 didn't like the Vension.

Do you add anything to yours? I add cottage cheese and veggies.

I desperately need to place Sophie on a DIET. She has really bulked up while she was on the prednisone. :(

I feed the lamb and venison and haven't had any trouble with them, but my crew seem to have cast iron stomaches! :banana:
