Houston we have liftoff

Well, actually we have leg lift and we are 1600 miles from Houston but I am very excited this morning.

Pogo lifted his left leg this morning and put his full weight on his right leg to pee, 12 days after surgery. :cheer3: :cheer3: :cheer3: I know it is all about baby-steps, but this step put a huge smile on my face today.

Aside from that, he is doing really well. He is loving all the private time with me and Rafi snuggling on the big bed. If he is missing his siblings, he isn't showing it. He is taking his crate rest like a trooper and we are very happy with his progress.

He goes to get his stitches out on Thursday, so hopefully that will go well. :crossfin: A week after that we can start doing some more intense physio therapy for him.

Don't worry about getting the stitches out..Laika has staples but they had to bring her back to the exam room and take them out with me holding her cuz she kept rolling over on her back so they couldn't get them. not cuz she was avoiding anything but just cuz she loved them all and wanted them to rub her belly. So I saw it done and it was easy-peasy and didn't hurt one tiny bit. You can't even see her scar now when you are looking for it!!!
