I don't often wear hats. I freeze. I finally bought a hat. I finally wore said hat. I was out all day in the freezing cold. Every time I passed my own reflection I would say, "see, you don't look bad in a hat." Toward the end of the day I was so happy to have discovered hats and I was prepared to wear my new hat all winter. UNTIL O-MAN ATE THE HAT. My husband thinks we can repair it. I don't think we can.

I'm not laughing. Much. :D
I was never big on hats myself when I lived somewhere with cold winters. I figured that was the purpose of hair - to keep one's head and ears warm. I'm sorry about yours though :(

Sort of. I left the hat on the coffee table but I left Oscar gated into the kitchen. Husband came home, let Oscar out of kitchen. I saw that Oscar was out of kitchen but I didn't think anything of it. I usually dog-proof everything without even thinking. I was tired and I guess I just forgot.
Can you replace the hat? It sounds like its so cold there you really need one!!

Yeah, I guess I will have to replace it. It is very cold in NY right now!
Sorry about your hat! Maybe you can get another one for Christmas?

Hats are a fact of life around here...and dogs eating said hats! And gloves...every single year I would buy a particular type of gloves for riding, and every year, Alex would eat one. Never both, just one. And sadly usually the same hand, so I couldn't even make up a pair! :sosad: I feel your pain, Kerie!
