As you all know, Amy, her husband Rob, and the weiners Laika, Owen and Salsa (wiener wannabe) drove through Georgia yesterday and met up with Sandi and I at a Waffle House next to the freeway. It was quite a drive for Sandi and I, but even farther for Amy and Rob! :holyshp:

We had a great visit ... I love to meet the people behind the login, and their spouses. Such nice people.

It's so funny to see the faces of the DLC family trying to digest why someone willingly drive 100+ miles to have lunch with someone you have never met. :scratch: Because you guys are alllllll so worth it!!!:hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

So, I get to scratch off one more name on my list of need to meets!! Too bad soo many more names are left but......

I REALLY wanted to play with the dogs and visit with the people, so I put the camera down and ... played with the dogs and visited with the people ... and had a pecan waffle!

Rob took some pics, as well, and will probably post something when they get a chance.

It was sooooooooo berry cool to meet Sandi and Ellen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had gotten stuck in traffic south of Atlanta and it was so frustrating trying to get out of that...and we were late and it was sucking pretty bad until we had our wonderful little meet-up!!!!! I don't think I'll be able to post the pics rob took until we get home (in a week or so) Rob has his computer (I'm using my sisters right now) but he and Dave (BIL) are constantly playing killing games on theirs. It's kinda funny..lots of yelling and laughing coming out of that room as they kill each other (virtually) over and over....strange....
ANYWAY I am soooo grateful that Sandi and Ellen drove so far to meet us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was wonderful :)

Aw, I'm so bummed i couldn't go! :sosad: I promised my sister a trip to the air show and she had told her friend she was coming over that night, so it wouldn't have been fair to ask her to change her plans... :(
Besides, I think I may have gotten away wif smuggling a certain bug eyed midget dog under my shirt.. "Oh don't mind the wiggling.. The baby is just excited to see you!" :D
