My parents dog Babe was sent to the Bridge this afternoon. I wrote about her before I believe-she had a large splenic mass and, although she had a wonderful week with my brother's family visiting last week, she started to fail almost immediately when they left. One last rally, I guess. She was 13.
She was a very good dog...never did anything wrong and was just pure love.
I'm VERY proud of my parents doing the right thing by her and not letting her suffer and also for letting her live and have good times after the diagnosis.
Have zoomies at the Bridge, Babe. Thanks for being there for my mom.

I feel so bad for them too. My mom misses her so much. She told me today she thinks Babe was her best friend. I hope she gets another dog...but she has to have her shoulder replaced next month and wants to wait until after that.... :(
