I think they are the most wonderful creatures also, so am pleased to hear that from all of you (I love all dachshunds and just want to hug all of them).
Yes, Lucky, our cart baby, is our foster kid. He was hurt (abused) by his own family's boys with baseball bats and hopefully will walk again, but the wonderful cart was made by Wayne at DDSG, (www.ddscart.org just in case someone needs one, the cost of the cart is shipping only $20.00, joining DDSG website and posting pictures). He moves around in it and is getting better each day (he has only had it about a week now), is going (with assistance) down and up the ramp to go potty and is gaining confidence about moving around outside on the grass.
Once you get him going in the cart, he is fine, but we have to make him get going each morning. He likes to just lay around (not knowing him before, this may just be his nature). He doesn't have interest in toys (except for Stomper and Abby) and the only thing that he really shows an interest in is chewies (he acts like he had never gotten one before coming here - he is nuts over them). We even tried treats, kongs and everything we can think of and he just ignores everything else.

What a wonderful pack of beautiful doxies!!!:hearts: :hearts: :hearts: :hearts: Wish I had a DH who would let me have that many! Of course, if you wanted to take a vacation; especially by air, it could be an issue! They are glorious!!:hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

I am lucky that hubby adores them all. But 7 is my limit. Vacation?? What is that? Actually, we have a small camper - but hubby works 6 days a week, so haven't been able to use it for a long time. I do get to go away once in a while for a day and dear hubby cares for them all (he says I need time away once a month). But have to admit, am happiest when at home with them.

Dreamer and Silver are litter sisters that a friend gave to us. They are Southern California girls.

Teak, Stomper and Rascel are brothers from Arizona. Teak and Rascel are full brothers 6 months apart and Stomper is their 1/2 brother 2 months after Teak and 4 months older than Rascel.

Lucky came to us from the Dallas area thru a call for help from a friend up there.

Abby came from HUA in Nebraska last August. (Her brother Baron came also but ....long story... was sick and only lived 13 days).
