View Full Version : Tasha can swim - with pics!

Since we've been spending more time wading this summer, and Tasha bounds through the shallow water to keep up with us, I keep wondering if swimming wouldn't be easier for her. Maybe she just doesn't know how....So yesterday we were wading and I carried her out till it was knee deep on me, set her in the water (holding the hug-a-dog handle to keep her afloat) and off she went. She did great and didn't seem to mind it too much.

WA is amazing, she's used to rain now, AND wades in the shallows to smell stuff all on her own!

I wish mine could swim. Have not tried with Pixie yet, but Bambi is like me on a pool, goes straight down to the bottom!!

That is so neat, she throughly enjoys her outings. Tasha is in wonderful shape, good job mom. :appl:

Hmm, does my cell take video? I'll have to check! Too lazy to schlep the camera along a lot of the time.

Fur, we were at Picnic Point in Lynnwood. But once we're in the new house, you could home to the beach a block or two from us, and we could see if Gi swims! I'll bet she would, since she'll fetch in the water.
