My daughter and her husband purchased 40 acres of hillside land in NE WA state surrounded by the Okanagon National Forest. It is gorgeos here (pics to come), but a lot of work for them. They are building their own home an plan on organic farming. I am here for the next month and go out every other day (working on their wedding quilt on my days off) to help them build their home. Currently we are working on laying water lines, electrical and phone lines in the trenches (750' of them). Oscar and Rikka stay in the air conditioed RV, but Axel is too little to leave behind, so he gets to come and help out ...

Most days he comes home the same color all over as the dirt in the trenches (including up his nose!).
