Some of you may remember Rena's old gal Kibby. She passed away Thursday morning at the age of 16.
She was a rescue and came in with a very high positive for heartworm, and there was a lot of damage to her heart. They never expected her to live very long at all, but I do believe that Rena had her for 7 or 8 years.
Rena said she was doing fine on Tuesday, but didn't want her breakfast Wednesday morning. Rena gave her tasty food and she did eat, but had thrown it all up by the time she came home from work. Rena took her in to the vet and they decided to keep her overnight due to possible complications with her Cushings. The vet checked on her several times through the night, and said she seemed okay, but she passed at 8:30 Thursday morning. The vet said that her heart just gave out.
She was a sweet old girl, and I will miss her. God speed, Kibby.
