That's a shame :( Another good argument for having pets spayed/neutered (and for offering it at low cost to pet owners who don't have a lot of extra money).

Yup, I saw that story about 3 mos. ago. It' s so sad that all those animals were left behind. And I' m sure alot of them belonged to owners that died in the storm. A few of my friends is helping with clean up where the storm hit hardest. They found bodies (human) everywhere. I won' t even tell you what it' s like there. The news don' t tell all of it.
Not all of my pets are spayed/nutered so does that make me a bad pet owner? I don' t think so. I treat mine as if they are my children.
