The blue heeler mix puppies I fostered for the animal shelter? Well I got the worst news today. The shelter has had a parvo outbreak and serval of the puppies didn't make it. I don't know which ones right now but my heart is breaking. They don't know if some of the others will survive. I'm so upset right now becuase I could have kept them longer but didn't.

Four of them had been adopted out before the outbreak so I hope they will be alright. Not sure which four found homes but I have a message to the shelter to see if they'll let me know. :pout:

So sorry to hear that Shonda. I know it has to be hard for you. You did a good thing by fostering the puppies to begin with. Don't let it weigh on you. The one's that didn't make it are romping around in Heaven right now. :hug99:

Oh no, Shonda!!! I'm so sorry :( That must have been so hard for you to hear; I know you cared for those little ones like they were your own. But I agree with Kelli, don't dwell on it... without your care, NONE of them would have had a chance.

Here is a :candle: for the puppers now at the Rainbow Bridge.

OMG!!! I am so so sorry to hear that, they were just adorable and it
is so awful that they had to go like that.. Parvo is such an awful thing
for a pup to suffer with.....
I'm so sorry for you....

Oh Shonda, how heartbreaking!! But take some comfort in the fact that they knew love and kindness before they crossed the bridge, and that's all because of :angel7: you. Alex and I are :candle2: for the little ones now playing on the other side and :bigrayz: :bigrayz: for those still with us. And a :hug99: for you too.

Shonda, none of them would've survived if you hadn't stepped in.:angel7:
:rayz: :rayz: to heal your broken heart. It's a harsh reality to face when we're forced to acknowledge that we can't save them all :sad1:
