Wow! Maybe I should do that to incentivate my kids to drink more :shocked:

It's 109 here today, and I don't seem to be able to make them drink more water.

Yup, little piggies for sure. After all, they are dachshunds and it is stinky food ;)

I've found that chicken broth or tuna water gets mine to drink a lot more. I put homemade chicken broth on their food at meals.

LOL. That's a good idea :). Better than pouring it down the drain.

oh, thats a good idea! I'm always worried that Digger isn't drinking enough when the weather turns warmer then what he is used too..

Do you heat it at all before you add it to the water or just put it right in??

No heating, I just put the broth in a clean bowl of cold water.

:ditto::ditto::ditto: I see Pixel is hanging out LOW... I'm going to try that with Jack. He drinks a lot but it'll be something different for him.

I keep a quart of "sardine water" in the refrigerator for that exact thing. Works as well as Tuna broth -- maybe better. I know it's smellier :)!

I should try that, because Gigi does not drink enough.

LOL! Looks like the one with the smallest head and longest tongue is getting the most...Peanut of course! Love it! :hearts:

Peaches drinks a ton, but when she's not feeling well I add low sodium chicken broth to their water.
