These are lousy pics but these are the 4 poms I was taking care of (along with 5 adult poms,1 skipperke, 5 Belgians, one with 8 new babies) this weekend. Not tht I did much, just fed and watered and got jumped on with muddy feet. I couldn't get these babies out cuz we had an elaborate roof clipped on to the pen, due to my paranoia.
The little black one is my favorite. From the time his eyes oepend he'd look right into yours.
Couldn't get a good pic of him though.

Poms come in more colors than dachshunds even! Various sables, the more common reddish gold (dont' remember what that's called), merles of all sorts (that's like the dapple in doxies and is what that little one with the blue eye is) parti-colored (that's sorta like piebald in doxies and what those black and white ones are) black and tan, chocolate and tan (and partis in all the ones with tan points), some solids with silvery overlays, white, black, "blue"...

No, I went to her house to take care of them. Not so much fun...couldn't take these out because they were in a pen in the barn and I didn't want to mess with it and couldn't reach over the top. The new puppies (laekenois) were in a huge crate with mom so I had to go let her out, then check the puppies cuz she will bite me :) She knows me well but gets weird with puppies. The little puppies are just sorta guinea pig like blobs right now anyway but I just check them all and count them :)
I didn't get bit :) Well, one of the big dogs outside (tervurans) kept poking me in the butt and I KNEW he was gonna bite me so I yelled at him VERY MEANLY and he looked at me like :wtf2: I thought you were NICE?? (I've known him since he was little-he's only about 15 months old now). His mom bites people in the butt too (she wasn't there..she was being shown).
But I'll all done with them now :) I thought about bringing the pom babies here but too much carpeting and too much screaming and crying and laika gets weird about baby poms. I get afraid she will kill one-they seem to trigger something in her.

Here are some more cute POMS:

I transported this little girl to her mom in AZ 4 years ago, her name is Kassie. I apologize for the enormous size. I resized it, but apparently Photobucket did not understand my wishes.

They do have a serious case of cute! The little black and white one standing in the first photo reminds me of a raccoon.

Those are some seriously cute babies! I have a soft spot for merle/dapple anything!!! LOL. I have two merle chihuahuas, it's a super neat pattern. A friend of mine who purchased a pup from our last Chihuahua litter also has a Pom, although she's sable with white markings.
