hi everyone,

going on vacation in a couple of weeks with my doxie (tweenie size).

we are going to be camping / hiking for a week in bar harbor / acadia, with some shopping thrown in.

our dog is very fit and has done well on shorter hikes, even over rocky terrain. (we just got him in january).

however, i'm thinking that he may get tired on very long hikes and may also be good to have a sling or carrier to put him in when we go shopping?

most carriers seem way too small / short for doxies.

any ideas about buying or making a sling?
good idea to have one?

thank you :)

I think Tex makes slings and might be able to give you some tips.

They have exactly what you want. They make a carrier that is wonderful. Custom sizes, colors and materials are available. Great company. Great people.

Her prices are fantastic for the quality. Everything is made in the U.S.A. You won't get better at a big box store.
