We Visited the DLC Headquarters!!! (very long and very pic heavy)

If you had a choice of going anywhere in the world for summer vacation, where would you choose? Well, my first choice was the DLC Headquarters to see 2 of my favorite people in the world...Lisa and Rafi!!! John and I had the best time ever, and I'm pretty sure Peaches and Piper Man didn't want to leave. Here's a recap with pictures!

On Tuesday we went to Niagra Falls. Me and John in front of both the US and Canadian Falls...

To really experience the power of the Falls, John and I took the Journey Behind the Falls tour. We got soaked!

From the Falls, you ride the Niagara rail up to access restaurants and shopping. The view from the rail was amazing.

On Wednesday, we visited the Butterfly Conservatory. John tried so hard to get a picture of these large blue butterflies, but they wouldn't be still with their wings open. Until one landed on Lisa's face!!! She's gonna kill me for posting this.

After that we checked out the gorge and the Brock Monument. John climbed 235 stairs to get the view from the top of the monument, and he got this beautiful picture. The rest of us were too lazy! lol

On Thursday, we checked out downtown Toronto, the lakefront, and dog boutiques. We were joined by Pepsi, Peaches, and Piper Man! Pepsi and Piper were good buddies...

On Friday, we visited the Royal Ontario Museum. This museum was awesome and it is one of the architectural marvels of the world.

We had so much fun! You know how you sometimes get tired of company? It was NOT like that with Tanya and John. I was really bummed when they left, I actually cried. Then we were thinking we should have taken them here or there, but there was just not enough time. :(

That's what I call the perfect vacation! You guys look so very relaxed, and I agree, Toronto is a gorgeous place. Miss it very much, and it was nice to see Lake Ontario from the other side (I usually see it from the US side, in Rochester).

To be able to go to a restaurant with my kids... heaven!! :love98:

Thanks all! It was relaxing. Since Lisa and Rafi know the area so well, we never had to worry about getting lost, knowing where to park, etc. You know...all of the things that can cause stress!

We DID go to a restaurant with your dogs... when we had the FL meetup with Chris (haha, we have meetups too. Well - one, anyway). Your dogs were good. Mine were overwhelmed and wanted to be in my lap and I had to eat a club sandwich over the top of them :D

Looks like you guys had SO much fun!!!

This was a "time fly's when you are having fun" type of vacations. I cant believe a week came and went.

We squeezed in a lot of activities in that one week.

We got to see Peaches in action at a local off leash park as she retrieved the ball.

Got to take the P's on a long walk at a Lake right in the middle of town, Peaches and Piper wanted to play with the ducks. Near the end Piper got a bit tired, so uncle Rafi had to pick him up and give him kisses and rub his belly, which helped him get his second wind at which point he was ready to walk again. :)

All P's got along very well which made things easy.

We already miss having John, Tanya and the P's around and looking forward to them visiting again. There was a lot that we didnt do, we simply ran out of time.
