My parents' dalmatian, Wizzer, who we had before I moved out, passed away yesterday. She'd been declining for a while and 13 is a very old age for a dalmatian, so she really put up a fight. No one was surprised, but we're still sad. At least the poor little girl isn't suffering anymore.

We've lost two 'oldsters' in the past 6 months - it still hurts the heart.

I'm sure Wizzer had a wonderful 13 years - and to a dog that is a long lifetime.
