A Mary update:
She has learned how to use the doggie door - I have got to get a picture - she is so cute :) I didn't really teach the girls how to use - because Holly would go out and dig the yard up....I prefer to have control and go out with them :D Holly hasn't shown much interest, but Mary watched the boys and started following them.

She then got brave and started sneaking out on her own.....but wouldn't come back in - she would just bark for me to let her back in :rolleyes: I finally just stood on the inside and opened the flap a few times, and then just called her and she finally started coming back in.

She is so tiny and peeking her head through the door before going in is just Oh.So.Cute :hearts:

Love the story of Mary learning to use the doggie door, but barking to come in. Sounds just like Pixie.

It's so wonderful when they really come out of their shells and start to do dog stuff! It's always amazed me how they teach each other to use the doggie door. The only dogs I ever taught to use the door were Bandit and Pebbles about 20+ years ago! The rest have all learned from each other. I do remember having a foster that I had to teach to come back in. She seemed to think that the doggie door was one way :scratch:

I've got non doggie door users here who refuse to use it, regardless of who has shown them. Frey and Roofus won't use it at all, and Daisy May will go out and in during the daytime, but not night.

I just love how Toby sleeps. Such a happy dog!
