Lisa, just thinking today and was wondering, How's Pixel and his back doing? :hug99:

He is doing good, thank you for asking! He does have better days (hours?!?) then others, yesterday in the morning he was a bit stiff, but in the evening he was doing great again.

We are now off all drugs (except rescue remedy) and just giving him more time. He is still on crate rest with controlled exercise until February 18th.

We did have leg lift last week :) :cheer3: :cheer3: :cheer3: And what was super awesome was he lifted his right leg and put his weight on his left, and it is his left leg that is weaker, so we were very happy when he did that.

We had an extra orthopedic mat (http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3093699&lmdn=Dog+Beds) so when Rafi is home, Pixel can just sit on my desk with me and Rafi can let the others in and out. Pixel loves doing this and is really really good.

This is an old picture from my bring your Pix to work day, but you can see, he is very low maintenance when just hanging out :)

Great news. I know what you mean by leg lift status. We were so excited when Gunner was able to do that the other day too. Now, we're waiting on his tail wags to begin. He is carrying his tail higher but no wagging yet.

Leg lifts are always exciting after back problems. It's great that he's off of all meds now and doing well. Sending more :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: for both Pixel and Gunner.
