i want to confine him to the bathroom now instead of leaving him in the crate. problem is the tolet is so low he can jump and get inside. even if the i cover it he will be able to open it. he is so clever he was able to open a drawer that was so high up i don't know how he got to it and chewed up some of my socks and underwear. lol. what can i do so he can't open the top of the toliet? thanxs in advance! :)

That is where we keep Pogo and Pixel, in the bathroom, with a baby gate. Toilets are really cheap (well under $100), you may want to look at getting a higher one. But a safety store will sell a child proof lock for the toilet.

Toilet Lock (http://cgi.ebay.com/CHILD-SAFETY-TOILET-LID-LOCK-EASY-TO-USE-NO-TOOLS-NEED_W0QQitemZ7747776143QQcategoryZ117027QQcmdZVie wItem) or like this one toilet lock II (http://www.greatbabyproducts.com/Child_Safety_Toilet_Lock_p/kidc-s370.htm)

Make sure you take off his collar before you put him in there. It would be easy for him to get it caught on the water knob thing (can you tell I know what I'm talking about ;)) and that could be dangerous.

Great suggestions on the toilet lock.

Would it be easier to just baby-gate the pupper in the kitchen? I' ve had mine in my kitchen since they were born (6 mos. old now)
They are only allowed in other areas of the house when I can watch them.

I think you can get drawer locks too, and ones for the cupboard under the sink if you have one. We used the child proof cupboard locks in our last apartment.

I suggest a child safety lock too. Good luck.
