View Full Version : Man sues airline after dog dies
Very sad! I'd never allow Tasha on a plane unless she was in the cabin with me! But with larger dogs, I know its not an option.

Aww that is terrible, most people are not aware of the dangers flying your pets in cargo.
That is so sad! I don't think Pippit could handle being in the plane(so we'll stick to land or sea travel)

Oh my! How sad. Bella flew with me in the cabin and did wonderfully. I wouldn't have flown home for Christmas if she wasn't able to be with me. The thought of her being in the cargo....I would be a mess!

wow, that is sad! has anyone ever seen the type of area the dogs are placed in when flying? I'm kinda curious as to the space, air temp, etc.

From what I have heard (and I've never actually seen this), they are placed in the same area as the luggage - not directly with the luggage, but it is not climate controlled the way the passenger cabins are.
