She started go look iffy earlier in the week, and Amy immediately put her on crate rest and drugs, but she was totally down this morning. Amy's heading for the neuro and will update when she can.

TONS of :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: and :hug99::hug99::hug99:

Oh, no!!!!! I hate to hear that. Tons of :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: from me and mine. Jack's been through back surgery so I know what that's about - I'm glad she has a neuro to do a good diagnosis! Hopefully meds and acupuncture are recommended. Do keep us posted! And more :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: for Laika, and :hug99: for Amy.

Oh no! Poor Laika. Sending rayz :bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz::bigrayz: for a healthy & mobile surgical outcome. Hugs for you too, Amy. :hug99:

Hmmm, Lisa's theory about Doxie IVDD badness arriving around Nov/Dec each year seems to hold. Tho' it's arriving a bit early this year?

It was October 2008 when Laika had surgery the first time. She was perfect after the first one, and I know she will be this time around too! She is such a strong, fit girl.

Lots of rayz Laika, thinking about you. :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz: :bigrayz:

Amy if you need anything, please PM me! I can call you day or night.

Update from FB...

Surgeon called and said he saw voluntary movement in her left rear leg and also believes she has deep pain in the right!!! SOOOOO much better news than I let myself expect. They will be backing off the fentanyl and I am sure she will be more responsive then. I know my girl..if she has sensation she will walk again. Hoping so much for just bladder and bowel control and some ability to walk...i will get her a cart if that will help her feel happier to move faster but I just want my girl to be able to walk and pee. I'm not much of a praying person but I am thanking god or the universe or anyone/anything for this good update. we surely are not out of the woods yet. I can't visit yet cuz it will upset her too much but hoping now. hoping is a little scary...

Hello Everyone, Amy Reese's internet is down and she asked me to give you all an update. Laika has motor in both of her legs and sensation in both legs. Amy is optimistic and doing well as is Laika. She is thrilled at the response from the surgery! Thank you for all your support and prayers
