|!| Anna (Urgent) |!|

Introductory Information :

Anna's current owner is surrendering her to rescue because she
can no longer afford to keep her; her husband died recently and
suddenly and left her so unable to care for her animals that simply
buying enough food has become a trial. A great rescue in South
Carolina has agreed to take Anna if we can get her there. Please
help her get to safety where she can enjoy a stable life again, and
ease the burden on her surrendering owner.

April 4, 2006 - Leg 1 has been filled. Still several to go.
Please help!
April 6, 2006 - Legs 3 and 6 have been filled, but there are
still so many legs to go that we are getting desperate. I used to
believe that only transports in which death was a consequence of not
filling the first round through should be considered "urgent," or
when the dog's safety could not be guaranteed for another week. But
this situation has changed my mind a little bit. This transport is
URGENT and it is IMPERATIVE that we fill it this week. No, she
likely won't die if she has to stay another week. But she is
already underweight and losing more weight every day - in her
current situation she is getting fed half of what she should be, if
that. If we can get her to rescue we could at last get her a full
stomach and get her on the road to finding a good family to take
loving care of her. PLEASE, I am begging, help us fill this
transport.

I'm really hoping it fills. Saigh and Blaidd are good friends of mine, and another friend, Dawn, found the rescue for Anna. Anna has three Great Dane siblings and five kitty siblings. It's a very sad situation.

That's so sad. 4 dogs and 5 cats and one very heartbroken woman if she lost her spouse and now all of her animals. I hope people fill the transport slots!
