Hi Ya'll! just wanted to give an update on Rusty :)

He's doing great! We are at 4 weeks of crate rest. We do a lot of exercises at home. He's walking a little. Its weird, he was strong in his right leg and limp in his left and its switched  A new vet opened up in walking distance from us and I looked them up online. They had a pool put in for hydrotherapy!!! they do all sorts of stuff for physical therapy. Our neurologist gave us the ok to start physical therapy so after visiting this new vet on monday we decided to sign Rusty up. I couldnt pass on the offer. They have only been open 2 weeks but the price was amazing after giving us a 25% discount for being a new patient and because she really really wants to work with him. She said she would have him walking in no time :) so next Monday we start week 1 of 4 weeks (once a week) of acupressure, rehab and hydrotherapy. I'm quite excited. The head doctor has been doing this for 14 years and was also on the show Animal Planets Animal Cops Detroit. I felt like I had met a celebrity LOL!

I dont have many new pics of Rusty. Tons of videos on his facebook page though.

But here he is in his doggie pool walking around for a treat. He did good.

Yipee for Rusty, our favorite all-red, all-american, all-sexy, swimming weiner dog. Wahoo! :cheer3: Lookit that squinty eyed lad enjoying the sunshine. Working the camera. He looks happy & relaxed. His spinal hump is already flattening way out, which means he's not favoring it as much. I think that's also very good news.
