Is a good picture of Savannah. My photog friend came over yesterday afternoon and Savannah was super glad to see her... And showed ZERO interest in getting her picture made.

This is our best effort thus far.

Then the "book club" went out to dinner!

She is a wild heathen!

The only way we got good pictures was to put Peanut Butter on the back of whatever we wanted her to pose near...
There was a great deal of Pinterest exploration about the poses and the props, and poor Kathy took HUNDREDS of pictures.

I envy all of you who have the discipline and the skill to train your dogs to sit pretty and down and stay. And every Christmas when we do pictures, I wish that I had made those things a priority.

D minus for me.

It takes hundreds of pics for me to get one good one. One year I took 80+ pics of my 3 and was tired and gave up and just used the best one (which wasn't that good). Sadly, even after taking multiple dogs thru dog training, I'm still not good about it. Scooter is the only one that will sit, come and down reliably.

Well, she is staying there! What was she looking at? She's so cute!

By the way, I haven't even started on my picture for Christmas cards. I have to get 2 dachshunds, 1 three year old, and a five month old to stay and look at the camera...and maybe even smile! :) Come help me! lol

She was looking at me in the picture above.
And I might have been holding a jumbo size jar of Jif.

Not to point fingers, but you should be standing right behind the photographer with that big jar of Jif!

I can't speak for others, but I get 1 in 100 good pictures, the rest involve doggie butts, blurred noses, bodies with no heads etc. etc. Thank goodness for digital or there would be a lot of wasted film.

That is a very cute picture. And a lovely looking book club!

It's not a bad photo at all, just not what you wanted, I get that. I'm lucky my dogs are older now and really don't do much so pretty easy to photograph.

For the record the card this year is 1 5 year old human....35 pictures he was done and not doing it again...so I still had to use photo shop!

Love your Savannah Jane. She's a big joy in our home. My husband always asks me if "she's posted". Just love your Christmas photos of her. Your book club is a very happy group! What's the Pinterest feedback? All good for your "wild child" I'm sure!
